EASY-TO-FIT HOME SECURITY ROLLER SHUTTER DOORS

Security window shutters for your home provide an effective, physical barrier to deter intruders. With vandalism and burglary continuously rising, they offer peace of mind when premises are occupied or vacant. The window shutters can be either installed internally or externally and are both operated from inside your home by swivel belt, manual push up and down or electric operated, each, allowing a quick exit in the event of emergencies. For exit doors or patio doors the shutter may be internally or externally opened via a transverse centre lock, fitted into the bottom slat. Locking bars locate into the side guide rails. The neat finish of the security window shutters is evident when fitted to your property with their unobtrusive roll-up boxes and maintenance-free powder coated standard colour finishes.

Swivel Belt Operated

Shutters installed on the outside of the property are raised or lowered from inside via a belt. Depending upon shutter size, the belt is operated manually or by a geared crank handle.

Spring & Lock Operated

Shutters installed on the outside of the property, mainly over door entrances are raised up and down by hand. Spring loaded for easy of lifting. A key lock allows the shutter to be locked from inside and out.

Electric Operated

Electric motors are enclosed with in the tubular giving full protection from the elements. Operation can be with an internal rocker-switch, external security key-switch or with a remote control unit.

Locking system for manual shutters

For manual operated external or internally fitted shutters a transverse key lock is used. This lock is built-in to the shutters bottom rail that is attached to the shutters curtain thus travels up and down with the shutter. Locking bars locate in pre-drilled slots in each side of the shutters guide rails, giving maximum security. With this type of lock it allows the shutter to be locked or unlocked from either side.

Slat Profile

40mm deep double wall foam filled rolled aluminium slat. Suitable for external or internal installation. Spring and Lock operated shutters are supplied non-vented as standard, all other operations are supplied vented as standard but also available non-vented.
