FACE FIXING
SHUTTERS:
Shutter Width
Measure the opening width. From each edge of this opening width 60mm of
shutter guide rail is required on each side. (this is the full shutter width, overall guide width)
Shutter Height
Measure the height from counter/bar top to underside of opening. This is the guide height, add the
shutters box size, headroom. (This is the shutters Total height.) The box,
headroom is dependent upon the height of the
shutter- see (shutter door box sizes below) for required sizes. When the door is fully raised, a
minimum of 50mm bottom slat hangs down into the guide rails. This is the
shutter opening height
REVEAL FIXING SHUTTERS:

reveal opening width, (this is the full shutter width, overall guide width)
Shutter Height
Measure the height
from Counter/bar top to underside of opening. If the shutter
is installed within the recess, the height of the shutter box will be
included in the shutter height. (This is the full shutter total height) When the door is fully raised, a
minimum of 50mm bottom slat hangs down into the guide rails.
Installation:
On most
installations the shutters box can be enclosed behind the lintel, providing
there is enough space to accommodate the shutter box. The shutter box can
roll inside or outside of the bar area. On some applications
if the width is to wide then two shutters will have to be installed with a
removable guide post.( see details below.)
